REVIEW

Drum roll please. BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!!!! The overall rating of Mr. 5'9"s album is #Classic. #1st2020HipHopClassic. Yes, I'm saying it. This is the first FIVE MIC album of this year. I'm aware it will not be the last, because most of the Hip-Hop albums released so far, are close to classics. Quality music is back. #BarsAreBack. Please read other blogs and watch my visual reviews on YouTube as well. Now, if you haven't listen to this album yet, go in your room and put your BIG pants on. This album is for ADULTS ONLY!

I'm calling this the Hip-Hop Bible. From beginning to end, it's filled with gems about the world and wants ying & yang about it. If you have sensitive ears, don't listen to this album. Royce murders every song on this album. His features stand there own as well, like Benny the Butcher on "Upside Down", Kxng Crooked on "Tricked" and Westside Gunn on "Overcomer". And you know Conway did his thing on "FUBU". The entire Griselda got busy. Benny quotes, "We the Firm without Fox!" Go listen to this album now. There more bars on this album then private prisons.

I got off track a bit, but this album got me out my feelings. It's incredible. So, this is review is going off the 5 MIC system, "The Source" Magazine use to do back in the day. Look it up youngsters. Back to the review.

This project is musically soothing to the ears and soul. It's Royce's Chronic, Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, College Drop Out, 3 Feet High and Rising, DoggyStyle, The Fix, etc. Look up these albums if you never heard of them. I'm a hip-hop head since the beginning. I can spit out another 25 classics. What are you Hip-Hip classics? Comment below please.

All the production but one song was done by Royce. And like I said earlier, the music has brilliant melodies and it's melodic. It's an album you play from beginning to end. You save the entire album on TIDAL or other platforms, not just a couple of tracks. Every time I listen to this album, it gets deeper with the lyrical content. Every track could be someone's favorite. I have favorites that switch hourly, since this just came out. I've listen to this album over 10 times today. And the reason it's only 10 views prior to this review, is because the album is long without notice. I can't tell it's long because it has my interest throughout. Kinda like the Thriller album. HEE, HEE! And I have various jobs that try to prevent me from listen to music. You can help by supporting my blogs, YouTube videos and selling my apparel. Thanks in advance.

The highlights are the entire album. I really believe it's a Hip-Hop classic already. If you have different views, I respect that, but let's debate below. His lyrical content like on "Young World", is insane enough. He quotes, "...tell Trump don't send a Tweet, send a plumber to Flint." This dude is in his own world with bars right now. I won't spill all the bars, just go hit play after this. And then come back and let me have it with your opinions. I ready like Tiffany Haddish. "She Ready!"

If your reading this Royce, tell us your daily regiments, so we can also use 100% of our brains. Seems like your entire cranium was lite on this album. And if your really reading this Mr. 5'9", thank you. I'd like to thank you for this brave album. It's brave, because the content is positive and educational. And you know people don't like to learn in there music, but you found a sweet spot. Thanks for the balance. I can't wait for your future production and lyrical content. You are Dope!

Please check out my daughter's clothing line below. Also, my YouTube and other clothing ventures. Thanks in advance.

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours Dear G Fam Black, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. I know you don’t do many press features, and this is a wonderful chance for your fans to learn a bit about you while still keeping some of that mystery. I truly appreciate it. Peace, G. I’m grateful for this opportunity! - G Fam Black Questions & Answers: 1. Are you originally from Brockton Massachusetts? And where are the best places to eat? Absolutely, I was born and raised in Brockton. There are plenty of great food spots here. For the best chicken, I’d recommend “Yas Chicken” and “Birdies Hot Chicken”, which are both fantastic. For breakfast, I have to mention “Alexander's Family Restaurant”. They’ve been around since I was a kid, and their omelets are incredible. For pizza, “Cape Cod Cafe Pizza” is the way to go—it's the best bar pizza in the world, a true South Shore Massachusetts specialty. A lot of towns near Brockton brag about having the best bar pizza, but th...

P-Ro is 12 FOR 12

Dear P-Ro, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. The year of 2025 was definitely a great year for you. 12 Albums in 12 months is something to be proud of. Your consistency, drive and performance shows, if you work hard, the world is yours. Questions & Answers: 01 Releasing one album per month for a year is a monumental, almost athletic creative feat. What was the core philosophy or personal need that drove this marathon? Was it to break a habit, prove something, or simply because the music was overflowing? -It was actually a little bit of all those, and wanting to challenge myself with a goal and try to get better at being organized. The list of projects I made in December looks different than what I ended up doing. If I wasn't dedicated to monthly drops, I probably wouldn't have made 4-5 of the ones I did. It's great to have a team that's like-minded and can dive in with me when I need them and make great, fun music together and share it with th...

How To Support Your Local Rapper/Producer?

The Core Problem: The Illusion of Support vs. Real Financial Impact Many fans believe that streaming a song, watching a music video, or following an artist on social media is "support." While this is valuable for visibility, it provides almost no direct income, especially for artists without major label backing. The Streaming Chasm:  It's well-known that streaming payouts are meager. An artist might need  hundreds of thousands of streams  just to earn a modest monthly rent. For underground rappers without playlist placements or algorithmic favor, this is an insurmountable hurdle. The "Exposure" Fallacy:  Many shows, especially for opening acts or in competitive markets, are "pay-to-play" or offer minimal guarantees. Playing for "exposure" doesn't pay bills. So, if streaming and low-tier shows don't cut it, how  can  fans genuinely support rappers, especially underground ones? Let's break it down by impact. Tier 1: The Lifeblood ...
