In Bold: Favorite Tracks
With Asterisk: Rotation Songs in My Playlist

Review:

I'm attracted to the sounds of this album. The way he positioned the tracks with various tempos throughout the project. I actually felt like I was part of his disregarded thoughts, based on how he painted this canvas. It's quite common for a Black Man's story to be relevant to another Black Man's story. The urban lifestyle where RAP was developed and mastered.

This album is very lyrically descriptive giving you quotable after quotable, which leads to "REMEMBERABLES". I just made up that word www.dictionary.com. I want credit and some money. Only nickles please.

"I knew I wanted to make a concept record about what it takes to free yourself from mental enslavement," the NY MC recalls. "The plan was to make something that showed real vulnerability and was, like, the polar opposite of masking how I felt." - Bishop Nehru (bandcamp.com)

His vision for the album is in sync with what I believe he wanted to accomplish on this project. I love the way he uses various instruments throughout the album bringing the tempo of the album up and down like a roller coaster. Because we all know, LIFE is more like a roller coaster with ups and downs, then any fairy tale wondering around in your thoughts.

I like ALL the TRACKS, but I thought I would have more rotation joints, when I was done grading. It's like one of those albums, that I just want to listen to throughout. I don't just want to break it up. It's like RIPPING apart a classic album. Would you take singles from "DAYTONA" (My review) OR "4:44"? No, you would just listen to the entire album over and over from front to back. This is one of those for me. Each song gave me a different vibe and depending on my mood and the topic of the record, it becomes my favorite and I want it in my 2020 Single Rotation. I did grow up and picked my GOLDEN FIVE though. That's just five records that stand out and I have a strong feeling, others will discuss.

Let's talk about the production on this project. Bishop AKA Markel Scott was in his bag of beats on this one. He kept all the dope beats for this project. He has an ability to make a underground sound and then the next track sounds like it should be on a WORLDWIDE RADIO STATION in rotation, PLAYED enough to make your ears bleed. But, that's what I like about this only 23 year old KID. He's versatile.

The album cover fits the character of this project. And if you have Tidal, it moves while you listen to it. It's like it's hypnotizing you. Jay-Z, are you stealing our #HipHopSouls? You have to tell us.

Nehru's story about someone finding a old cassette tape and an urgency for the man to go home and play it. The urgency turning into passion and him getting a message and learning from the upcoming Bishop stories (tracks). This concept is very cleaver.

They want me mad, 'cause cops drop us within a week
But it's nothin' new, it's just now you can send a tweet
I been peep before the misrule order
So I won't give them people what they be wantin' more of
Which is gore, horror, a closed-border war
'Cause the unity ain't show, they only 'posed to slaughter - Colder

Some can go from close friends to a myth
Once they get caught like pleading the fifth
It's quiet and they to the side like whip
'Cause I ain't letting nobody stop my gift - All My Years

I wanted to share some of my favorite lines from the young Prince Bishop. In "Colder" he speaking about the recent and ongoing 400 year battle Blacks have been having with the police. Expressing the only thing that's changed is we are seeing it on camera now. The violence and killings that the cops have been giving the Black Community since we were dragged over here against our wills. And shout out to all the Black people that came before me and fought this battle. We have to continue the fight people. We need everyone too. Whites, Asians, Indians, Russians, Canadians, Africans, etc. We need the WORLD to REACT.

The verse in "All My Years" express's how friends become foes. How some close friends and family try to get in the way of your success. And this young KING is telling them NOPE. Go check out his discography as well. This brother started at 15 rapping and getting the attention of Hip-Hop vets. It's just the beginning for this CHAP. #CHERRIO

I'm rating this album 4.7 MICS. The production is top notch, the concept is on target and the lyrical content is on point. He's just not a 5 MIC MC yet. And I explain in the YouTube Video below.

Thanks for reading and I hope to see you on my YouTube as a subscriber.

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours Dear G Fam Black, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. I know you don’t do many press features, and this is a wonderful chance for your fans to learn a bit about you while still keeping some of that mystery. I truly appreciate it. Peace, G. I’m grateful for this opportunity! - G Fam Black Questions & Answers: 1. Are you originally from Brockton Massachusetts? And where are the best places to eat? Absolutely, I was born and raised in Brockton. There are plenty of great food spots here. For the best chicken, I’d recommend “Yas Chicken” and “Birdies Hot Chicken”, which are both fantastic. For breakfast, I have to mention “Alexander's Family Restaurant”. They’ve been around since I was a kid, and their omelets are incredible. For pizza, “Cape Cod Cafe Pizza” is the way to go—it's the best bar pizza in the world, a true South Shore Massachusetts specialty. A lot of towns near Brockton brag about having the best bar pizza, but th...
