JAIME+MIKE"

This was the message Jaime AKA El-P and Killer Mike put out today in the late morning. I always check TIDAL in the morning for surprised music and I didn't see this album. I was listening to the "Peaceful Protest: Hip-Hop" mix. Then I started listening to the R&B one and then I noticed this lovely message on Instagram I posted above from the duo. I'm like another single? Wait, they are putting out the album two days early. My day just got better.

This politically minded hip-hop groups chemistry is incredible. Each album they create gets better and better. There aren't many individual artist that can get together and actually make good albums. And this group is on it's 4th. Let's hope they continue.

Jay-Z and Kanye West were a great example of two of the finest solo artist joining forces. But I'm pretty sure they don't claim each other as a supergroup like RTJ. And their not making any music together anytime soon. What do you believe? Comment below if you want or think Jay and YE will ever put their differences to the side?

This project fits the MOOD the WORLD'S FEELING right now. I hear RAGE, concern, LOVE, hate and PASSION in this project. The topics they rap about are political, amusing, powerful and educational. Their music makes you want to get your life together. This is why I suggest, the WORLD to listen to this album. I have a strong belief MOST people will get some jewels from this joint.

As soon as this project comes on, you feel like jumping into a mosh pit with classic Timberland's on. "yankee and the brave" sounds like a hip-hop and a rock song at the same time. Did this group find a way to actually join the genre's without thinking of each genre? Well, they did on this song.

Now, their first single "ooh la la (feat. Greg Nice & DJ Premiere)" was such a tease. The day it came out, I remember dissing another artist I was listening too. I'm not going to tell you who. LOL. Anyway, this BEAT will make my farts sound good. Shout out to Wilder Schwartz and Torbitt Schwartz for creating what could be single of the year. At least on the top 10 singles of the year. There is too much GREAT music out now and it's only June. I'm still waiting for THREE artist to drop their projects. I'll give you a hint, Griselda and Trust Gang.

And then by the 3rd track, they use a sample from the LEGENDARY MC THE D.O.C. from Dallas, Texas. Or you may know THE D.O.C. from the LEGENDARY group N.W.A. He barely ghost wrote most of the hits you love from most of what Dr. Dre put out. And if that wasn't enough, 2 Chainz laces us with a verse. This track is out for blood as RTJ4 trades verses. This is their best album so far without a doubt. Almost legendary.

The Activist in Killer Mike has his attention lately and I thank him for that. He's an incredible, thought provoking poet when he raps and when he speaks about injustice. Some artist won't even tweet a positive message for a Black movement. Mr. Mike is very visible in the wake of George Floyd's murder as much as other wrongful death's last week and since I've known of him. Recently the MC said, "I'm mad as hell. I woke up wanting to see the world burn yesterday, because I'm tired of seeing black men die." He also urged the listeners "not to burn your own house down for anger with an enemy." I agree Mike, don't burn down where you live, effect them in their pockets. Stop supporting companies that don't have your morals. #SupportSmallBusiness #SupportBlackBusiness

And not to be left out, El-P described "RTJ4" as "our hearts, humor, anger + love of hip hop music" and said, "we hope it moves you, makes you smile, makes you dance, makes you think, and makes you nod your head."

Well El-P and Killer Mike, I've already have done all of the above. This piece of work is the first #HipHopRockClassic ALBUM I've review. Well, lets just call it a #MusicClassic.

Thank you for pouring your hearts and souls on this album. I appreciate the time and effort it took to create this. Whoever helped on this album or were even friends and family around the these TWO KINGS at the time they created this should be praised.

Thanks for reading and I hope to see you on my YouTube as a subscriber.

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours Dear G Fam Black, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. I know you don’t do many press features, and this is a wonderful chance for your fans to learn a bit about you while still keeping some of that mystery. I truly appreciate it. Peace, G. I’m grateful for this opportunity! - G Fam Black Questions & Answers: 1. Are you originally from Brockton Massachusetts? And where are the best places to eat? Absolutely, I was born and raised in Brockton. There are plenty of great food spots here. For the best chicken, I’d recommend “Yas Chicken” and “Birdies Hot Chicken”, which are both fantastic. For breakfast, I have to mention “Alexander's Family Restaurant”. They’ve been around since I was a kid, and their omelets are incredible. For pizza, “Cape Cod Cafe Pizza” is the way to go—it's the best bar pizza in the world, a true South Shore Massachusetts specialty. A lot of towns near Brockton brag about having the best bar pizza, but th...

P-Ro is 12 FOR 12

Dear P-Ro, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. The year of 2025 was definitely a great year for you. 12 Albums in 12 months is something to be proud of. Your consistency, drive and performance shows, if you work hard, the world is yours. Questions & Answers: 01 Releasing one album per month for a year is a monumental, almost athletic creative feat. What was the core philosophy or personal need that drove this marathon? Was it to break a habit, prove something, or simply because the music was overflowing? -It was actually a little bit of all those, and wanting to challenge myself with a goal and try to get better at being organized. The list of projects I made in December looks different than what I ended up doing. If I wasn't dedicated to monthly drops, I probably wouldn't have made 4-5 of the ones I did. It's great to have a team that's like-minded and can dive in with me when I need them and make great, fun music together and share it with th...

How To Support Your Local Rapper/Producer?

The Core Problem: The Illusion of Support vs. Real Financial Impact Many fans believe that streaming a song, watching a music video, or following an artist on social media is "support." While this is valuable for visibility, it provides almost no direct income, especially for artists without major label backing. The Streaming Chasm:  It's well-known that streaming payouts are meager. An artist might need  hundreds of thousands of streams  just to earn a modest monthly rent. For underground rappers without playlist placements or algorithmic favor, this is an insurmountable hurdle. The "Exposure" Fallacy:  Many shows, especially for opening acts or in competitive markets, are "pay-to-play" or offer minimal guarantees. Playing for "exposure" doesn't pay bills. So, if streaming and low-tier shows don't cut it, how  can  fans genuinely support rappers, especially underground ones? Let's break it down by impact. Tier 1: The Lifeblood ...
