Review:

If you don't mind, I'd like to give my condolences to Malik B. from the Legendary Roots Crew family and friends first. We are losing many Kings & Queens in Hip-Hop and they need to be acknowledged. And I believe Black Thought paused on his album release due to the untimely passing. Please reach out to everyone this Young MC blessed with his time. Thanks in advance.

Back to the Program!

Tajh if your reading this, let me get this out of the way sir. I'd like to apologize for rating you a 3.5 MC. With this album, you've shot up to a 4.0 MC by far. So let's get into this review.

Tajh's debut ablum "Bars Only Tape" only scored a 3.68 in my review. Check it out after this read please. I believe the difference between these projects is better beat selection, better beat creation by artist, great features and bars on top of bars. It feels like the Summertime Shootout album at least I was looking for from artist Fabolous. So thank you in advance for the clever "Rewind That" bars and sick beats Mr. Malik. I like to give people their flowers while they are living.

I asked the Young Star a couple of questions prior to the review. Check out the text interview below:

1. Who are your favorite MC'S?
Answer: "Nas is my favorite. I like Fabolous, 2 PAC, Jadakiss, Styles P, Jay Z, The Notorious BIG and Wu-Tang." - Tajh Malik

2. What are your favorite cuts?
Answer: "I like a good few. "Jordan" and "Get Your Vision Up" my SHIT though." - Tajh Malik

3. Is this a Mixtape or Album?
Answer: "Lol! Mixtape or Project." - Tajh Malik

So the first time I heard this album, I was like okay, this dude is coming for the Summer, no pun intended. Since Corona, people have loss their summer VIBE and not many are testing the waters and going to the beach. And I believe this project will put you in that SUMMERTIME mode even if your not at the beach. So fill up your Walmart $9.99 inflatable pool, get you a bootleg "I know how to make the best drinks, only when I'm drunk" and open up them blinds and press PLAY.

Love Summer: Great intro cut to the Fly Summer time vibe. Tajh speaks on the summer tales with eating gator tale and the love he has for the Summer. Or is he speaking about a young lady? This is why I'm in love with hip-hop. The Double entendre is used well.

BBQ & Mayo Ft. Skrillmatic: Another great summer time beat giving you more ice in that drink, more sun on the almost bald spot (talking about me) and a look-a-like Halle Berry, named PAM. Besides that, this track is a great combination of two MC'S showing you how MCing should be done.

*Quotable Notables: "Get this money remain hungry on this Papa way/I gotta eat so uma make sure there's a plate today/That sour Blueberry up in a spliffs that's the playaway" - Tajh Malik

Jordan: This song took about three listens to be like, okay this is fire. The start of it got me like, "What's About To Happen". Well Tajh, great job on the song. Sounds like it should be on that radio. You are creating great songs and it's starting to show heavy.

Spitter: I remember discussing with this MC about his MC rating. He was not pleased, but at the end of the day, it's just my opinion. But, I'm hearing growth in his bars, delivery and content. So, you did your homework and went in on this track with quotable after quotable.

Same Canoe: This track was fully produced by the MC. I'm throwing it in the air, Mr. Malik. Can you do an entire album produced by yourself please? I think it's time. This beat has layers and the bars keep my attention all day. Great rap flow and production.

Monopoly Ft. JovaRosx: This is forth track that will be blessing my yearly single rotation list. This album will go up for Top 25 projects/albums of the year. Great feature again. His circle of MC'S is tough so far. I wonder if they have a crew name.

Get Your Vision Up: Another track that Tajh goes in on. "...Vasace Shades, rolling dolo, ni&&a get your vision up."

Patty Mills: This is the 2nd track Tajh blessed us with. I believe he has a future in production and being spoken about when it comes to bars. He just started his career and I cannot wait until the industry gets a load of him.

Overall I'm giving this LP 4.2 MICS. It did make me feel like it was summertime and the young star has a future as a great verbal king. I'm looking forward to more. So, Tajh Malik and camp, if your reading and watching the YouTube below, great job on your follow up project.

My Grade For Album (Rate: 1 Lowest and 5 Highest)
Beats: 4.5
Lyrical Content: 4.0
Album Structure/Theme: 4.0

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours Dear G Fam Black, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. I know you don’t do many press features, and this is a wonderful chance for your fans to learn a bit about you while still keeping some of that mystery. I truly appreciate it. Peace, G. I’m grateful for this opportunity! - G Fam Black Questions & Answers: 1. Are you originally from Brockton Massachusetts? And where are the best places to eat? Absolutely, I was born and raised in Brockton. There are plenty of great food spots here. For the best chicken, I’d recommend “Yas Chicken” and “Birdies Hot Chicken”, which are both fantastic. For breakfast, I have to mention “Alexander's Family Restaurant”. They’ve been around since I was a kid, and their omelets are incredible. For pizza, “Cape Cod Cafe Pizza” is the way to go—it's the best bar pizza in the world, a true South Shore Massachusetts specialty. A lot of towns near Brockton brag about having the best bar pizza, but th...
