Review:

I did research for this project that I believe was an album at one time. Now it's viewed as a mixtape. And if you don't know what a mixtape is, it's something rappers would and still put out prior or in between an album release. But I believe this was an album and then got chopped up to a mixtape. Fred, prove me wrong sir. And if you know, comment below please.

The older articles showed 10 songs with at least six different tracks that are not on this project. And I'm guessing here, but I think Mr. Godson is trying to flood the streets with lyrical content. He just put out the "Training Day" Mixtape with comedian Jay Pharoah like two months ago. And about five months ago, his nearly #Classic album "God Level" produced by the Heatmakerz in November of 2019. I'm not complaining. I'm a huge FAN. Flood away!

The over all album with my rating brings it to 3.7 MICS. This is going off the 5 MIC system, "The Source" Magazine does. I put a bit of a twist and I'm adding percentages. I'd like to give the MC's as much credit as possible. Especially bar for bar heavyweights like FRED.

This project was produced by Tricky Trippz, Hesami and by the artist. It seems like many artist are getting involved with the production, composing and advertising of their recent projects. This is no exception. Fred composed his last couple of projects. And it makes sense to be involved in all the pieces to your work. Royce Da 5'9 recently produced his entire album and it's ranked a #Classic in my book. Go check out my review on Royce as well.

The highlights are Fred's delivery of metaphors. He is definitely bar for bar one of the elite MCS out since he started spittin. The reason he's being highlighted recently is because the culture is respecting lyrics again. Since the Trust Gang and Griselda movement, Hip-Hop is waking up to lyrical content. And Fred is affiliated with not just these crews, but he's lining up with producers like Heatmakerz, 38 Spesh, etc.

As long as Mr. Godson stays in tune with the heavy hitting producers, he will be talked about for a long time. He already ranks in my TOP 25 MCS all day. Recently he's just been getting more quality beats. And all great lyricist need this. Take Black Thought for an example. People know of him, but always forget about him when it comes to the top whatever list. WHY? Usually most lyricist don't have great production behind them. Give these wordsmiths some BEATS producers.

If your listening Fred The Godson, keep doing what your doing sir. It's only a matter of time that the world will recognize your talent. If that doesn't happen, you still have the streets. And we will represent and support you until the wheels fall off. And if your really reading or watching my YouTube reviews, hit up the Heatmakerz, Premo or 38 Spesh for at least 10 tracks. Shoot, you have access to all them, sounds like three more mixtapes or albums. However you want to spin them brother. Just keep hitting us with that FIRE.

**Update** Fred The Godson is calling this a TAPE according to his Instagram. - 3/20/20

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours Dear G Fam Black, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. I know you don’t do many press features, and this is a wonderful chance for your fans to learn a bit about you while still keeping some of that mystery. I truly appreciate it. Peace, G. I’m grateful for this opportunity! - G Fam Black Questions & Answers: 1. Are you originally from Brockton Massachusetts? And where are the best places to eat? Absolutely, I was born and raised in Brockton. There are plenty of great food spots here. For the best chicken, I’d recommend “Yas Chicken” and “Birdies Hot Chicken”, which are both fantastic. For breakfast, I have to mention “Alexander's Family Restaurant”. They’ve been around since I was a kid, and their omelets are incredible. For pizza, “Cape Cod Cafe Pizza” is the way to go—it's the best bar pizza in the world, a true South Shore Massachusetts specialty. A lot of towns near Brockton brag about having the best bar pizza, but th...

P-Ro is 12 FOR 12

Dear P-Ro, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. The year of 2025 was definitely a great year for you. 12 Albums in 12 months is something to be proud of. Your consistency, drive and performance shows, if you work hard, the world is yours. Questions & Answers: 01 Releasing one album per month for a year is a monumental, almost athletic creative feat. What was the core philosophy or personal need that drove this marathon? Was it to break a habit, prove something, or simply because the music was overflowing? -It was actually a little bit of all those, and wanting to challenge myself with a goal and try to get better at being organized. The list of projects I made in December looks different than what I ended up doing. If I wasn't dedicated to monthly drops, I probably wouldn't have made 4-5 of the ones I did. It's great to have a team that's like-minded and can dive in with me when I need them and make great, fun music together and share it with th...

How To Support Your Local Rapper/Producer?

The Core Problem: The Illusion of Support vs. Real Financial Impact Many fans believe that streaming a song, watching a music video, or following an artist on social media is "support." While this is valuable for visibility, it provides almost no direct income, especially for artists without major label backing. The Streaming Chasm:  It's well-known that streaming payouts are meager. An artist might need  hundreds of thousands of streams  just to earn a modest monthly rent. For underground rappers without playlist placements or algorithmic favor, this is an insurmountable hurdle. The "Exposure" Fallacy:  Many shows, especially for opening acts or in competitive markets, are "pay-to-play" or offer minimal guarantees. Playing for "exposure" doesn't pay bills. So, if streaming and low-tier shows don't cut it, how  can  fans genuinely support rappers, especially underground ones? Let's break it down by impact. Tier 1: The Lifeblood ...
