Flee Lord and Chase Fetti Combine on a eight track project. I've been following Flee Lord for almost two years now, but I'm not familiar with Fetti Combine. This is grimy music for your ears and soul. Reminds me of when I heard the first Infamous Mobb Deep album back in the day.
Below is the written blog version, I also have a YouTube version below. So, click and subscribe after reading this please.
I'll be reviewing mostly on FRIDAYS or the weekend.

Review:
Flee Lord has been in my rotation for some time now. He reminds me of the grimy Mobb Deep vibe we heard back in the day. You can hear the hunger in his voice. And recently, Hip-Hop has been doing combo albums. We heard Jay-Z and Jay Electronica for an example. The albums are usually a surprise, such as this one is.
I'm always researching about Hip-Hop albums coming out and this one fell under the radar. With new comer Chase Fetti who sounds just as hungry, this project is something to fuck with. Especially if you like Hood Tales with beats that will never see the airways.
And when your doing your own research, check out Flee Lord and people in his camps album covers. They are a work of ART. Most of the time, they are religious is some factor, mixed with some sinister shit.
The eight track project is just what the streets need. This album is straight to the point with topics that are too sensitive for your children's and grandmas ears. On "You Ain't Wit Us", Chase spits, "...I got a bunch of hitters, but these niggas ain't batten!" Chase is new to the game, but on record it looks that he's been around since 2016. His prior album came out last year in November called, "Six Shotz".
On the first cut, "Get the Mac" Mr. Lord quotes, "My jeans cost an ounce, my team on the count, if I'm in my living room Lord, the thing on the couch." Braggadocio with a bit of a threat. That's some good Hip-Hop!
I enjoyed this project. It reminds me of when I use to have "Sessions" back in the day. And sessions were when you hung out with your crew and some ladies and just talked shit and got fucked up. We would be playing hardcore tunes, trying to impress the ladies in order to get some pussy. If my friends from back in the day are reading this, don't say nothing. LOL!
Overall the album delivers and holds up to what I believe the two artist wanted to deliver. Raw and uncut production, with "Session Talk". Makes me want to call my old connections (hood-rat chicks). WAIT, I'll pass on the old coochie, but I'll PLAY a couple of tracks from this project. My favorites are, "Get the Mac", "For the Leg" and "Sittin' Near Me".
I'm giving this duo a 2.83 MIC rating. I believe it's fair. There's not a huge stretch for lyrical content and material. The beats are head bobbing, but like I mentioned above, only built for HOOD EARS.
Flee Lord and Chase, if your reading or watching my YOUTUBE review, please know this is actually a good record. Keep doing what your doing, because it's what Hip-Hop needs to balance the scales out here.
