Review:

If you've been following and been a fan of Roc Marciano, you should of heard Stove God Cooks a few times on Roc's last album, "Marcielago". I became a fan of Stove God since. And sometimes, all it takes is a feature or two. And Mr. Marciano warned us about this artist on a couple of recent interviews.

On the first track, "Rolls Royce Break Lights" which is a great title for a song, the "God" quotes, "God bless a homicide, God bless a shooter, your soul a computer, you google rumors." You already know this dude is trouble on the mic. You will be quoting for days. "...left six pure, but I O.J. cut thirty!" And this is just the premier track. This song alone, will make you a fan of his.

Even though Roc Marciano has flow for days, he did not bless this album. He did bless us with the entire album production though, which was more than enough. And like he did on his last album Marcielago, he didn't disappoint. His beats take you to another world with the common head nod and the "StankFace" look. You know when you hear something and your face resembles Conway The Machine's. What's good Conway. No disrespect sir, just a way to promote you when I can.

Stove God Cooks lyrical ability is top notch. You will be sliding the bar back (rewinding) to hear what he said again and again. On Crosses he says, "...my daughter wearing chinchilla to the petting zoo." On "Break the Pyrex" his SINGLE he says, "I do prayer while the Tesla drive itself, banging Mobb Deep, the bricks came whiter than Jon B." WOW! I can quote him all day, but that wouldn't be fare to my other reviews. This album is definitely going to make other artist step their BARS up. #BarsAreBack

And did I tell you this is his debut album? Ya'll in trouble MC's. And I'm all us fans will benefit from all this Pyrex work. This camp with just Mr. Cooks and Mr. Marciano alone can compete with most rosters out now. I don't add many albums to my collection, but this one is going.

The HIGHLIGHT of this album is the blend of the tracks and the lyrics. Both are married on this album. And it seems like they are going to make it ...until death do us (them) part. On "John $tarks" Marciano's "1970's Uncle with plaid pants and butterfly collar" wearing track goes beautiful with Stove's smooth lyrical dynamic.

Stove God Cooks, if your reading or watching my YOUTUBE review, your debut album is almost a #Classic brother. And I bet other reviewers might check that off for you sir. I've enjoyed this and thank you for your hard work, word play and thought process on song titles. And I hope Jay-Z doesn't come for you for the title of the album. It's clever too. And Roc Marciano, pass the WEED you smoking. Your production is FIRE! We need to come up with category for your beats. Maybe, "1970 Uncle with plaid pants and butterfly collar". LOL!

This Project deserves mutual play to anything your listening to currently. I'm give this a 4.67 MIC rating. Don't be surprised if I bump up the mics.

Cincerely Yours,

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours Dear G Fam Black, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. I know you don’t do many press features, and this is a wonderful chance for your fans to learn a bit about you while still keeping some of that mystery. I truly appreciate it. Peace, G. I’m grateful for this opportunity! - G Fam Black Questions & Answers: 1. Are you originally from Brockton Massachusetts? And where are the best places to eat? Absolutely, I was born and raised in Brockton. There are plenty of great food spots here. For the best chicken, I’d recommend “Yas Chicken” and “Birdies Hot Chicken”, which are both fantastic. For breakfast, I have to mention “Alexander's Family Restaurant”. They’ve been around since I was a kid, and their omelets are incredible. For pizza, “Cape Cod Cafe Pizza” is the way to go—it's the best bar pizza in the world, a true South Shore Massachusetts specialty. A lot of towns near Brockton brag about having the best bar pizza, but th...

P-Ro is 12 FOR 12

Dear P-Ro, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. The year of 2025 was definitely a great year for you. 12 Albums in 12 months is something to be proud of. Your consistency, drive and performance shows, if you work hard, the world is yours. Questions & Answers: 01 Releasing one album per month for a year is a monumental, almost athletic creative feat. What was the core philosophy or personal need that drove this marathon? Was it to break a habit, prove something, or simply because the music was overflowing? -It was actually a little bit of all those, and wanting to challenge myself with a goal and try to get better at being organized. The list of projects I made in December looks different than what I ended up doing. If I wasn't dedicated to monthly drops, I probably wouldn't have made 4-5 of the ones I did. It's great to have a team that's like-minded and can dive in with me when I need them and make great, fun music together and share it with th...

How To Support Your Local Rapper/Producer?

The Core Problem: The Illusion of Support vs. Real Financial Impact Many fans believe that streaming a song, watching a music video, or following an artist on social media is "support." While this is valuable for visibility, it provides almost no direct income, especially for artists without major label backing. The Streaming Chasm:  It's well-known that streaming payouts are meager. An artist might need  hundreds of thousands of streams  just to earn a modest monthly rent. For underground rappers without playlist placements or algorithmic favor, this is an insurmountable hurdle. The "Exposure" Fallacy:  Many shows, especially for opening acts or in competitive markets, are "pay-to-play" or offer minimal guarantees. Playing for "exposure" doesn't pay bills. So, if streaming and low-tier shows don't cut it, how  can  fans genuinely support rappers, especially underground ones? Let's break it down by impact. Tier 1: The Lifeblood ...
