Conway The Machine - "No One Mourns The Wicked" Album REVIEW

Griselda Squad is in 1st PLACE currently when it comes to underground hip-hop. This is their third project of 2020, making this Conway The Machine's 2nd out. The other project was Westside Gunn with Pray For Paris. I guess Benny is taking 3rd and 4th quarter. He is Jordan on that team. Just know, this TEAM is on FIRE and not even Coronavirus can stop them. Shout out to Westside Gunn for kicking Corona's ass. He smacked the fuck out of that bitch.

I'll be reviewing mostly on FRIDAYS or the weekend.

My daughter and I also have clothing lines. Please click below to support. Thanks in advance. Now, BACK to our regularly scheduled REVIEW.

Review:

Okay, this is not a debate this come around. Conway said himself that this is officially an album. He blessed us with the project "Lulu" with the legendary production from The Alchemist earlier this year. This come around, Conway teams up with another great producer, Big Ghost LTD. Let's just say, The Alchemist has some competition.

And the title "LEGEND" should now be attached to this MC's name. It's well overdue if you know this man's catalog. His catalog of albums is ridiculous. He's becoming into his skin and will be a contender for BAR SMITH of the year.

People have been in doubt about gangsta rap for years. They seem to believe it would of dried out. They figured it would disappear. NOPE! With MC's like Conway, it's now in heavy rotation. He's one of the Underground Kings that brought it back up to the surface. And this project is smacking you in the face with that.

Let's talk about these BEATS Mr. Machine murdered. Not sure if y'all know who Big Ghost LTD is, but I do. I was introduced to him mid last year. Projects like "Griselda Ghost" with Conway & Westside Gunn and "The Only Way Out" with Rigz & Mooch. Actually, the album "The Only Way Out" is on my TOP 20 Hip-Hop albums of 2019. It made it to 17th and WWCD was the 20th.

Big Ghost beats are very hardcore and street, but have that melody that merges the sounds into some of the best beats so far this year. If your reading or watching me Mr. Ghost, keep these sinister beats coming. And you need to do an album with Ransom, Roc Marciano and Che-Noir.

Conway is a beast on this album. He spits that dirty, grimy, smooth shit. Like imagine if Big Daddy Kane wasn't a ladies man. Imagine Big Daddy Kane was more hood. Let's just say, Conway is controlling those beats. Conway has a great ear for beats. Not everyone has that talent. Is it me or is Conway's BARS just getting better and better? Thanks Conway The Machine for representing HIP-HOP like it's supposed to be. You can tell he studied and did his homework little kiddies.

Conway hasn't forgotten his crew from around the way. Flee Lord and El Camino join Conway on this project with that sound that is just soothing to the ears. Every time they are on a track, they don't disappoint. Check out Flee Lord and El Camino's projects. I was wishing Eto would drop a verse. Speaking of Eto, I'll be reviewing him too today. His album dropped too.

MICS: 4.83 (Almost a #HipHopClassic in my ears) Thank you Conway The Machine.

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours

G Fam Black VS Ceverely Yours Dear G Fam Black, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. I know you don’t do many press features, and this is a wonderful chance for your fans to learn a bit about you while still keeping some of that mystery. I truly appreciate it. Peace, G. I’m grateful for this opportunity! - G Fam Black Questions & Answers: 1. Are you originally from Brockton Massachusetts? And where are the best places to eat? Absolutely, I was born and raised in Brockton. There are plenty of great food spots here. For the best chicken, I’d recommend “Yas Chicken” and “Birdies Hot Chicken”, which are both fantastic. For breakfast, I have to mention “Alexander's Family Restaurant”. They’ve been around since I was a kid, and their omelets are incredible. For pizza, “Cape Cod Cafe Pizza” is the way to go—it's the best bar pizza in the world, a true South Shore Massachusetts specialty. A lot of towns near Brockton brag about having the best bar pizza, but th...

P-Ro is 12 FOR 12

Dear P-Ro, Thank you once again for participating in this interview. The year of 2025 was definitely a great year for you. 12 Albums in 12 months is something to be proud of. Your consistency, drive and performance shows, if you work hard, the world is yours. Questions & Answers: 01 Releasing one album per month for a year is a monumental, almost athletic creative feat. What was the core philosophy or personal need that drove this marathon? Was it to break a habit, prove something, or simply because the music was overflowing? -It was actually a little bit of all those, and wanting to challenge myself with a goal and try to get better at being organized. The list of projects I made in December looks different than what I ended up doing. If I wasn't dedicated to monthly drops, I probably wouldn't have made 4-5 of the ones I did. It's great to have a team that's like-minded and can dive in with me when I need them and make great, fun music together and share it with th...

How To Support Your Local Rapper/Producer?

The Core Problem: The Illusion of Support vs. Real Financial Impact Many fans believe that streaming a song, watching a music video, or following an artist on social media is "support." While this is valuable for visibility, it provides almost no direct income, especially for artists without major label backing. The Streaming Chasm:  It's well-known that streaming payouts are meager. An artist might need  hundreds of thousands of streams  just to earn a modest monthly rent. For underground rappers without playlist placements or algorithmic favor, this is an insurmountable hurdle. The "Exposure" Fallacy:  Many shows, especially for opening acts or in competitive markets, are "pay-to-play" or offer minimal guarantees. Playing for "exposure" doesn't pay bills. So, if streaming and low-tier shows don't cut it, how  can  fans genuinely support rappers, especially underground ones? Let's break it down by impact. Tier 1: The Lifeblood ...
